Sight, Sound, Motion

A picture can be measured and calculated in the rawest form, a theory can be drawn from what is presented. Is it a good picture? The lines lead the eyes to an object of interest, the colors contrast ever so slightly but not to the point of aggravation. There's more to the picture, there is a movement that stirs emotion. Noises that begin in solitude form a pulse, a rhythm is born but it is not alone. Movement follows rhythm in dance and thus becomes the focus, the story and the message. These are the fine details that drive my passion for visual arts. When I peer through a view finder I feel at home, it's my dojo where I can be both the student and the master.
